AFFILIATION WITH TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY

The High School for Creative Learning is a special project of Texas Tech University’s Region IV Division of Outreach and Distance Education. We follow the curriculum of The Texas Tech Independent School District, which is comprised of fully accredited college preparatory program classes.  All courses are compliant with the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) state mandated standards, and are administered by The Texas Tech University ISD.  These standards help our students acquire the necessary skills to perform well when taking the TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) test.  A passing grade on the TAKS test is a graduation requirement for all Texas high school students.

Students who complete the required curriculum will be awarded a Texas Tech Independent School District High School Diploma.

For more information on this program see the Texas Tech ISD web site at www.ode.ttu.edu.
