In many public and private schools, students may fall behind or get lost in a crowd. If a student has difficulty with just one lesson, the class may forge ahead, leaving the student behind, with a feeling of defeat.
At The High School for Creative Learning, we, unlike any other high school, do not allow our students to fall behind because they are allowed to proceed at their own pace as in a home schooling environment. At the same time, the students are monitored by certified teachers to assure they overcome any obstacles blocking their path to finishing in a timely fashion. In addition, students are placed in small lecture groups. Ninety percent of college courses are delivered in lecture format. To be successful in college, it is imperative that the student develop sophisticated listening and lecture skills.
Equally important are life skills and a communication ability that transcends school, work and personal life. These skills are practiced at every level throughout each day at our school.
